Also, since people have raised their voices against climate change, governments around the world have taken precautions and set laws to help reduce climate change. Changes resulting from global warming may include rising sea levels due to the melting of the polar ice caps, as well as an increase in occurrence and severity of storms and other severe weather events.”

Since the industrial revolution, the burning of fossil fuels has dramatically increased the rate of global warming and intensified natural disasters. Humanity since then has done little to combat it and even has further added to the problem. For example, the droughts in California, air pollution in China, and stronger hurricanes around the world are directly correlated to the human carbon footprint.
